The Enicar Sherpa Date is an iconic watch from the famous Sherpa collection by Enicar, a Swiss watch brand founded in 1913 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The name “Sherpa” was chosen for this series as a tribute to the Himalayan guides renowned for their endurance and expertise in mountainous regions. The idea was to design robust, reliable watches capable of withstanding extreme conditions, much like the Sherpas who guided mountaineers to the top of the Himalayas. This range of watches was particularly popular in the 1950s and 1960s, when mountain exploration and outdoor expeditions were booming.

Each vintage watch is individually selected and carefully inspected by our workshop manager. Once purchased, the watch is mechanically inspected and fully checked by our watchmaker. If necessary, the movement is completely overhauled and tested to ensure that it works.
We always describe the watch as fully as possible in our sales texts. Our zoomable images are of the highest possible quality and form an important part of the description of each watch. We never hide or conceal any element of the watches we sell (no photoshop).
Once you receive your watch, we encourage you to inspect it thoroughly. If you are not 100% satisfied, please let us know. We offer a 14-day return policy. Simply return the watch to us for a full refund of the original purchase price.
Our Warranty
We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the water-resistance of a watch (vintage), unless expressly stated in writing. Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and/or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or mishandling of your watch and does not extend to the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
