HISTORY
The Cal.135 beats at 18,000 bpm, has 19 jewels and is 5 mm high. Its size of 30 mm (13") is significant only in that it was the maximum size allowed for movements in the observatory competitions for the wristwatch category (30 mm diameter). This is why there were so many 13"' movements and very few 14"' and 15"' movements.
Any movement larger than 13"' had to be entered in the pocket watch category and had to compete against movements up to 50 mm in diameter. Since larger movements are more accurate, all other things being equal, the chances of a 14"' movement doing well in this category were slim. The height was also limited to 5 mm. Circular movements reached this limit at 30mm in diameter and thus represented the most frequently presented caliber type.

Each vintage watch is individually selected and carefully inspected by our workshop manager. Once purchased, the watch is mechanically inspected and fully checked by our watchmaker. If necessary, the movement is completely overhauled and tested to ensure that it works.
We always describe the watch as fully as possible in our sales texts. Our zoomable images are of the highest possible quality and form an important part of the description of each watch. We never hide or conceal any element of the watches we sell (no photoshop).
Once you receive your watch, we encourage you to inspect it thoroughly. If you are not 100% satisfied, please let us know. We offer a 14-day return policy. Simply return the watch to us for a full refund of the original purchase price.
Our Warranty
We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the water-resistance of a watch (vintage), unless expressly stated in writing. Therefore, our warranty does not cover damage to the case and/or movement caused by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or mishandling of your watch and does not extend to the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
